Plockton Small Boat Sailing Club

Plockton Small Boat Sailing Club was set up in 1933, has run without interruption since then and celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2008. It is a lively organisation, with a membership of 125 and organises a series of races from May-September and also an annual Regatta, which takes place in the last week of July and the first week of August with associated events such as dances.

For the Highland 2007 celebrations it supported a ten mile sponsored row which raised over £6,000 for MacMillan Cancer Research. Plockton local boats are at the heart of the organisation, but there are also races for toppers, yachts, centreboards and other watercraft.

PSBSC also offers a programme of sail training in the summer, using the Club’s RYA registered instructors and is a RYA registered training centre.
