The Guillemot design is named Lach a'Bhlair

The Iain Oughtred designed Guillemot has been completed and was successfully launched in Plockton in June.  She was named "Lach a’Bhlair", which is Gaelic for Coot.  She has been fitted with a balanced lug rigging and uses a lee board instead of a centre board.  She was taken to the Tall Ships race event in Ullapool in July and displayed right by the main entrance so all visitors could see her.  After this she was taken south by her new owner Sarah Walcroft to Sussex.
